Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) It drives tears of emotion into my eyes that an album like this is still possible today. It has all of the qualities of the early art rock masterpieces created in the 60s/70s... well, this is certainly due to the fact that it's conceived and recorded by one of the musical pioneers of that era. It's obvious from the first note that Dee Palmer is not a newbie in the music business. Actually, she contributed orchestral arrangements for several legendary "Jethro Tull" albums, most notably "Aqualung" and "Warchild" (credited as David Palmer then), and even became a regular Tull member from 1975 to 1980, after impressingly substituting a string quartet with keyboards on stage. The opening track of her wholehearted solo debut - "Urban Apocalypse" - was in fact written for Tull's 1979 "Storm Watch" album. So take the chance of delving into truly authentic 70's art rock nostalgia, created by one of those who really know what it was all about at that glorious time. Favorite track: Through A Piece Of Darkened Glass.
